Is your organic Facebook page growth doing well?
If one of these questions relates to you, then this article is for you… Read on!
Facebook has about the largest audience of all social media platforms existing today, but a lot of business owners and social media managers find it difficult to increase their page likes organically.
Facebook says there are about 40 million active small business pages on the Facebook platform; and maybe it’s only a small fraction of that figure that knows how to organically grow it’s Facebook page likes. If you are part of that small fraction, then I have some solutions for you, so, get ready to dive in!
Very shortly, I will be sharing with you 7 powerful ways to grow your Facebook page likes organically, without paying a dime on Facebook page likes and stuffs.
Lets jump right in!
1. CREATE QUALITY CONTENT
Creating quality contents that help you fulfill your business goals is one of the best ways to organically grow your Facebook page.
A popular saying among social media managers and digital marketers: “QUALITY Content is King!”
Brian Boland, VP Advertising Technology, Facebook, advised authors and publishers to “publish great content — content that teaches people something, entertains them, makes them think or, in some other way, adds value to their lives.”
Hence, contents that are informative, curative, educational, entertaining and/or offering some forms of solution are Facebook users’ favourites. You can as well share the quality and timeless contents developed by others.
Timeless contents such as Testimonials, Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), Tutorials, Guides and so on, don’t lose value, and that can make for continuous commenting, liking, sharing, and the good thing is, the longer such contents stay in feeds, the more they are favoured by the Facebook algorithm by distributing further.
In fact, creating and sharing of quality and timeless contents is a great way to increasing audience engagement.
2. INSTALL SOCIAL MEDIA BUTTONS ON YOUR WEBSITE
Installing social media buttons on your website is another great way to growing your Facebook page without paying for Facebook ads and promotions.
By installing your social media “Follow us” buttons in the high traffic areas of your website, you can convert a visitor to a customer by sharing content with them regularly through your social media outlets.
Position your social media buttons in strategic areas on your landing pages where visitors can easily see them, like your Facebook page for instance, and share the contents that you create.
This obviously is one of the ways to convert potential customers to loyal customers.
3. STUDY TIME AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT
Study your audience on Facebook to know the best time to post contents and get the greatest response.
Get into your Facebook insight and find out when your fans are mostly online.
Carry out your own research if possible, to find out the best time to post and get the highest response.
Although, Neil Patel suggests, “post in the off-peak hours (6PM – 8AM) with the maximum possible fans online; your chances of appearing in the feed increase since other Facebook pages aren’t posting during this period.”
4. DISCUSS ABOUT FOOD
Since people love food, you can write, talk and post beautiful photos of food on your Facebook page.
Beautiful food pictures have a way of getting people’s attention. This may not be a good idea for your niche but you can always chip it in once in a while.
For instance, post a catchy photo of a good-looking plate of rice and chicken and write about it; channel your points in that direction and you would be surprised at the response you’d get from it.
5. TRY INSPIRING QUOTES
Try posting popular and inspiring quotes, ones your audience would relate to.
You might just inspire someone today by posting something like, “the best preparation for tomorrow is doing your best today” – H. Jackson Brown, Jnr.
From there you get comments and people sharing your posts.
The more likes, tags, comments and shares you get from your posts, the longer it stays in feed and the more your posts get higher reach.
However, you must avoid posting quotes that are not good. Use quotes people would respond positively to.
6. PUBLISH VIDEOS NATIVELY ON FACEBOOK
Since Facebook started to favour video updates, social media marketers now use video blog contents than before.
Since people naturally react easily to what they watch than what they read, you can take advantage of videos to capture people’s attention.
By making short, quality, well edited video with good lighting, you get more reactions and shares than you would with ordinary text.
The more shares you get, the more people are likely to like and follow your Facebook page.
You can even attach a call-to-action (CTA) button to your video, pin it to the top of the posts on your page, embed in a blog post and feature it in the about section of your page to create more engagement and conversion which would make your Facebook page grow without paying a dime on ads. What an advantage it is!
7. ENGAGE YOUR AUDIENCE WITH QUESTIONS
Asking not ordinary questions, but engaging questions as status update is another great way to create massive engagement on your Facebook page.
It simply means you are interested in hearing the voice of your audience. Your audience wants their voices to be heard and this is a great way to know what they think about your products or services and you can get good ideas on how to improve your products or services or whatever it is you are providing them.
Getting feedback from audience is one of the advantages social media marketing has over some forms of traditional marketing, which may help your business grow as well as your Facebook fan page.
